Playground ready for younger residents to enjoy

Sunrise Park Apartments is ready for new residents! Residents are already moved in to buildings 1-5 and management staff is moved in to their new offices in the clubhouse.

In approximately two weeks the remainder of buildings will be ready to welcome more residents to their new homes.

The project for the Lake Wales Housing Authority included the new construction and site development of an affordable housing complex. Project consists of eleven two-story CBS-construction multifamily buildings plus a leasing office / clubhouse. Phase I includes 72 units. Brooks & Freund is providing GC/CM services.

Jim Grubb served as project manager with Isaac Sanchez as superintendent.

Brooks & Freund Breaks Ground in Baton Rouge

New Projects: Willow Creek and Autumn Place

(March 13, 2012) – Brooks & Freund, LLC has started construction on two multifamily projects in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for the East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority.

Willow Creek & Autum Place

Autumn Place and Willow Creek are both carefully planned communities located in the revitalized area of Baton Rouge. Each development is made up of 42 units, consisting of 2, 3, and 4 bedroom flats and townhomes. To maximize space, the interior of each unit features an open floor plan. On the exterior one will find each home boasts unique qualities, including individual colors and design materials. Building layouts also follow that theme with individual driveways, mailboxes, and front and back yards.

Jim Grubb will serve as Project Manager with Rusty Martin as Superintendent. Both projects are scheduled to be complete in December 2012.

Diversified Yacht Services Update

If you haven’t driven to Fort Myers Beach lately, you may not recognize Diversified Yacht Services now. The project is on schedule to be complete August 2012. This weeks progress includes: The roofs are on, exterior painting complete on the service building, drywall hung and finished in both buildings. The harbor master stucco exterior finish is underway, roofing and soffits are being completed this week. Tile work starting is this week, as is acoustical ceilings.

Tom Karr serves as Superintendent, with Jack Jamme as Project Manager.

Coral Hills Plaza

Fort Myers, Florida. (February 29, 2012) – Brooks & Freund

Brooks & Freund began site work on Coral Hills Plaza, located along North Del Prado Boulevard in Cape Coral, Florida.

The project includes all the sitework and infrastructure to ready a 2.11 acre site for 20,000 square feet of future retail/office space. Construction is anticipated to be complete in summer 2012. Civil engineering services are being provided by Quattrone & Associates.

Edison Mall Transfer Station

Edison Mall Transfer Station is complete
Construction of a the Edison Mall Transfer Station is complete, and buses are in and out! The finished canopy allows for the loading of up to (8) buses at a time, and is protected from the weather. The project also includes an office, restroom facilities, sheltered seating areas, and security cameras. Thank you to everyone who assisted in the successful completion of this project.

Diversified Yacht Update

Project Update – Diversified Yacht Services

If you have driven over the bridge to Fort Myers Beach, you have probably noticed the changing appearance of the future home of Diversified Yacht Services. As you can see from the aerial photos above, all of the floating docks have been installed, construction of the site wall has begun, and the interior floor slabs have been poured. Look for more updates on our website as the project progresses.
