Richard Freund

Manager

Richard formed Brooks & Freund, LLC, the culmination of over 30 years of construction management experience, in August of 2000. He relies on his extensive industry knowledge and hands-on approach to guide his team. He is actively involved in every aspect of business operations, ranging from the field to the office. Richard attributes Brooks & Freund’s success to the hard work and dedication of his team. His no-nonsense attitude and impeccable attention to detail enables Brooks & Freund to deliver exceptional service from conceptualization to construction for each and every client. He is a firm believer in aggressively pursuing the expectations and goals of his clients. Richard is a Class A Certified Contractor and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from The University of Florida.

Jesse Olsovsky

Senior Project Manager

Jesse joined the Brooks & Freund, LLC team in 2012. His more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry enables him to effectively manage our most complicated building projects. Throughout his professional career as a Project Manager, he gained a wide range of experience managing projects such as senior assisted living facilities, multifamily housing, renovations, commercial strip centers, office buildings, and public museums. He is a licensed Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida and an Unlimited General Contractor for the State of South Carolina. Jesse holds an Associates Degree in Architectural Engineering and a Bachelor’s of Science in Construction Management from Alfred State College.

Jim Grubb

Senior Project Manager

Jim joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2000, its inception. For years Jim served as Brooks & Freund’s General Superintendent, overseeing all field personnel. With company expansion, Jim has returned to the Project Manager role where he manages all of our Louisiana projects.

Jack Jamme

Senior Project Manager

Jack joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2005. He has over 30 years of experience in all phases of construction and construction management. Jack previously owned and operated a Miami based construction company.  His vast experience is the reason he is often tasked with our most demanding projects.  Jack holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction from The University of Florida.

Vernon Anderson

Senior Project Manager

Vern joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2017. He has experience completing a variety of projects including high-rise jails, aviation, collegiate stadium expansions, industrial, primary & secondary education, healthcare, multi-family housing and assisted living facilities. Vern attributes his success to his attention to detail and hands-on approach to Project Management. Vernon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction from The University of Florida.

Greg Coleman

Project Manager

Greg joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2016. He has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry with involvement in custom residential homes, multifamily housing, condominiums, and commercial and industrial projects. Greg is a licensed Certified General Contractor.

Sara Grimes

Project Manager

Sara joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2017. She has over 15 years of experience in commercial design-build construction featuring projects such as hospitals, data centers, conference centers, interior build-outs and schools. Her knowledge as a Procurement Manager, Project Engineer, Cost Manager and Warranty Agent provide her with a global understanding of each project from its inception to completion. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems, as well as a Minor in Marketing from Syracuse University.

David Lawless

Lead Estimator

David joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2013. He has 13 years experience in the commercial construction industry in Southwest Florida including building experience in multi-family housing, student housing, condominiums, skilled nursing assisted living facilities, commercial, residential, and renovations. David is a licensed Certified General Contractor and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from The University of Florida.

Lenny Maenza

General Superintendent

Lenny joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2017. He brings over 30 years of experience in various aspects of the construction industry including carpentry and business ownership. He also has 13 years of experience as a Senior Superintendent throughout the State of Florida. His perspective and experience in addition to proven problem solving, planning, and communication skills make him a valuable asset to the management team. Lenny holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Economics from Oneonta State University in NY.

Rose McCurry

Director of Operations

Rose joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2012. She credits her interest and experience in the construction industry to her father who is a General Contractor. As a part of the Brooks & Freund management team, Rose’s responsibilities are diverse and make her a vital asset to daily operations. Rose holds an Associate’s Degree, with a concentration in Construction Technology, from Florida Southwestern State College.

Alana Miller

Estimating & Warranty Administrator

Alana joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2016. She has over 10 years of experience in leadership, customer service and business development. Alana holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from SUNY Rockland.

Lisa Sullivan

Project Administrator

Lisa joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2014. She has over 30 years experience in the architectural and construction industries. Lisa brings an extensive background and understanding from a designer’s perspective to the Brooks & Freund team.

Yvette Farmer

Project Administrator

Yvette joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2015. Her background includes extensive experience in the clerical realm of the construction industry, lending another valuable perspective to the Brooks & Freund team.

Brittney Stahl

Project Administrator

Brittney joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2016. Her strong communication and organizational skills complement the team. Brittney holds a Bachelor’s of Art degree in History as well as a Minor in Education from Florida Gulf Coast University and she is currently pursuing a degree in Construction at Florida Southwestern State College.

Michelle Wise

Comptroller

Michelle joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2000 as head of the Accounting Department. Her dedication, efficiency, and experience make her an invaluable member of the Brooks & Freund management team and a necessary presence in the company’s day-to day operations. Michelle holds a Masters Degree in Accounting from The University of South Florida and an Executive MBA from The Florida Gulf Coast University.

Jennifer Brady

Contract Administrator

Jennifer joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2004. Her determination and hard work make her a valuable asset to our team. Jennifer holds an Associate’s of Science in Business Administration from Medaille College and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University.

Rebecca Moldenhauer

Certified Payroll & Insurance Administrator

Rebecca joined Brooks and Freund, LLC in 2014. Her background in team training and management make her an essential member of the Brooks & Freund administrative team.

Patricia Jones

Receptionist

Patricia joined Brooks & Freund, LLC in 2003. She has many years of experience in retail, administration, and management. Patricia is also very involved with the United States military through many programs and organizations.
