Demolition of the marina and boat storage facility that was a long-standing fixture at the mainland foot of Matanzas Bridge in Fort Myers Beach. Construction includes a new 50,000 square foot large-vessel service facility, and the 10,000 square foot harbormaster outpost. The yacht service facility houses indoor and outdoor paint booths, a 150-ton travel lift, and full waterside fueling facilities; the 80 foot tall structure can accommodate vessels of up to 110 lineal feet and is designed to withstand 150-mph winds. This facility is the first of its kind on the Florida Gulf Coast.
