Celery Fields Regional

Celery Fields Regional is a 150-acre public recreation and water reclamation project located in Sarasota, Florida, designed to enhance both environmental management and community recreation. The project included the renovation of the existing site, construction of a new water reclamation area, off-site roadway improvements, and the installation of underground utilities to support the development. A key component of the project involved the containment of contaminated fill within a 28-acre engineered mound rising 85 feet tall and encompassing more than one million cubic yards of material. By combining essential infrastructure improvements with expanded recreational space, the project created a functional public destination that supports both environmental stewardship and outdoor recreation.
